Shain Brenden is a Portland, Oregon based comedian originally from a little city just outside of Memphis, Tennessee called Millington (Justin Timberlake is also from there). He's the 2022 winner of Helium Comedy Clubs Portland's Funniest Person, dubbed an “Undisputable Genius of Comedy” by the Portland Mercury, and named one of Willamette Weekly's "Funniest Five." As a stand up comic he's made a name for himself performing all over the country at festivals such as: High Plains Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, San Francisco Sketchfest, Laughing Skull and the Limestone Comedy Festival and Big Sky. He's racked up millions of views as a featured comic for Don't Tell Comedy's Youtube series and can be heard Netflix is a Joke Radio on SiriusXM.

As a writer, Shain is an alumni of the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy program. He's been able to marry comedy writing chops and love of sports to work on projects for Nike, Adidas, Jordan Brand, and ultimately a writer/on-air host for NBC Sports' "Blazers Outsiders" for several seasons.  As a commercial actor he has featured in ads for Navy Federal Credit Union, NBA 2K, Google, Marvel, T-Mobile and Nike to name a few.

 

A University of Memphis alumni, Shain’s proudest moment was throwing a half-eaten corn dog at Eli Manning during a University of Memphis vs. Ole Miss game in 2003.
