Shain Brenden is a comedian, writer, actor, in Portland, Oregon. In 2018 he was named one of Willamette Weekly's "Funniest Five" Comedians, 2019 he was voted an “Undisputable Genius of Comedy” by the Portland Mercury, and later that year finished Top 3 of the Portland’s Funniest Person Contest held at Helium Comedy Club.
He’s performed in the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, Gilda’s LaughFest, Memphis Comedy Festival, and in 2020 was voted "Funniest Comedian" of the Northwest Black Comedy Festival.
Shain has featured in projects for Nike, Google, Jordan, Marvel, and Old Spice, and was a on-air personality for NBC Sports Northwest. In 2019 he co-starred in the short independent film, "Dinner" and played a knife-wielding opportunist in the murder heist drama "Queen Triggerfish."
A University of Memphis alumni, Shain’s proudest moment was throwing a half-eaten corn dog at Eli Manning during a University of Memphis vs. Ole Miss game in 2003. His sneaker game is delicious.
